Attend our amazing parties and galas. don't forget Harrah's Rincon Casino will be providing FREE transportation this year! Harrah's shuttles will be at the Hazard Center the 3 party nights (March 10, 16, & 19) from 8:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. making trips every 20 to 30 minutes to and from the hotels. The bus seats 56 passengers at a time!

Enjoy tasty tray-passed appetizers. Chill, mix and mingle with Festival VIP's in the luxurious second floor Foyer, grooving to Supersonic Samba School Axe Style Music and Dance Choreography. Marvel at the technical precision of US Amateur Salsa Champions Yukiko and Abraham or the sexy performances of Alma Latina! Dance in the softly-illuminated Presidential Ballroom to 13-piece salsa band sensation Rumbankete and one of our featured guest DJs. Special guests include: Demian and Bruno Bichir, Yareli Arizmendi, Sergio Arau, Jose Yenque, y más!

Walther-Meade, and partnering with Radio Latina 104.5 F.M. Hosted appetizers between 10 and 11 p.m. Choose from a sultry lounge setup featuring Sol e Mar playing a Brazilian Music Mix of Bossa Nova, Forro, Axe, Brazilian Pop and Pagode, followed by Deseo Samba's sizzling Samba Fusion Routine, Capoeira show and Limbo Line, as we pay homage to Brazil, the 2011 San Diego Latino Film Festival's featured country . Headdress attired dancers and performers available for 10 minute photo opportunity. Continue dancing to the salsa and bachata tunes spun by LA's DJ Evist. Or enjoy Grupo Kanari's pulsating rock en espanol in the main lobby, followed by San Diego's reknowned B-Side Players, serenading us with bilingual reggae, funk and cumbia!
