In partnership with Community Housing Works, Media Arts Center San Diego's Teen Producers Project explores how an affordable housing community in Poway is doing their part to improve the environment.

Solara, an afforable housing complex, made strategic changes in their community to make it greener and sustainable at a low cost. Solara is the first apartment complex in California that is fully powered by the sun.

In Fall 2009, Orange Glen High School students created a documentary on Solara and their efforts to limit their carbon footprint.
