Lemon Films Tribute

The Sweet Taste of Success

This vibrant, energetic young production company, started by brothers Billy and Fernando Rovzar, is bringing Hollywood-type films and creative buzz to Mexico. Beginning in 2003, Lemon Films, and its broad base of film, digital media and television production, is committed to bringing Mexico, Latin America and the world, high quality works that an eager Mexican public is definitely ready and hopeful for. Lemon Films is breaking attendance records with its films and video projects that are also receiving wide attention in Mexico's Video Clubs.

With an agreement with Warner Bros, Lemon Films is able to co-produce and distribute Mexican-made Spanish-language films in Mexico and in other countries in the future. Lemon Films released Matando Cabos, a dark comedy about a kidnapping gone wrong; and that film became MexicoÍs highest-grossing Mexican film of 2004, going on to screen at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. SDLFF previously screened their psychological thriller, Kilometro 31 and this year at SDLFF '09 we're excited to offer:
