San Diego Latino Film Festival continues to celebrate the arts with its focus on animation.  The festival promises something special for everyone with this colorful showcase.  The collection of art-house and family friendly films truly celebrates the power of Latino creativity behind the camera. 

“Animated films often get overlooked at film festivals and rarely get the attention of bigger live action films.  For the past few years, San Diego Latino Film Festival has brought these unique expressions to the forefront.” said Cine'mation Curator Patric Stillman. “The quality of Latino and Spanish-language animation has been quietly on the rise.  A century ago the first animated feature and short films appeared in Argentina so it’s a thrill to see the art form reclaim its glory.”

For the serious filmmaker and art/design/screenwriting student (as well as general audiences who enjoy independent cinema at its finest expression), the festival promises some incredible opportunities to hear first hand from professionals in the business.
