TU CINE Student Screenings, in conjunction with the 16th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival, cordially invite you to view films created by up and coming Latino film-makers! This is a fabulous opportunity for students and educators alike to experience a morning or evening of cinema.

Screenings will be held in the morning and evening. Films are geared toward middle school, high school, and college audiences. The goal is to engage students and encourage dialogue through entertaining and educational films.
The morning screenings are geared toward middle school and high school audiences from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and are FREE. Students and staff are asked to arrive at 9:30 a.m. for check-in.
Tuesday (March 17th, 10AM): Youth Visions - works by teens recommended for High Schools
Wednesday (March 18th, 10AM): EL RATON PEREZ 2; an animated feature film recommended for Middle Schools
Thursday (March 19th, 10AM): Cortos Latinos - international short ANIMATED films recommended for High Schools
Friday (Friday, March 20th): The Garden - documentary film recommended for High Schools
The evening screenings are geared toward college audiences and are at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and/or at 10:00 p.m. Individual tickets are $7.50 per student and group discount prices are being offered (call 619-230-1938 101 for details).
