MEDIA ARTS Center San Diego Video Production Services is made up of seasoned mixed media production pros and up and coming creative artists. We transition youth media makers from our Teen Producers Project ages 15 and up and provide work-readiness opportunities in the video production field. Our business model makes digital media very accessible and affordable for businesses and organizations to connect with their audience. When you work with us you are supporting our education and training programs that serve all ages and diverse backgrounds in San Diego.

Since 1999, our Teen Producers Project youth ages 9-18 have produced hundreds of videos for the San Diego Community. Now we have added training for young adults and seasoned pros to the mix offering a full menu of video production services for all budgets!

MEDIA ARTS Center San Diego recognizes that everyone has a story to tell and the most engaging way to connect with a customer and audience is through video.

Good videos take time! Depending on the scale of project they can take weeks and sometimes months of planning before the record button is pressed on the camera.

Here is the basic process of what to expect:

Initial contact- Customer shares project overview, goals, preferred timeline, audience and budget.  An initial meeting is set-up.

Initial meeting is set-up to further discuss project. We spend more time looking at timelines, resources, budget, and examples of videos, options for meeting goals. We go through a list of questions to evaluate the project.

We then draft a proposal for customer review.

Upon approval of proposal a contract is drafted and signed and an initial deposit is collected.

The producer/writer step in to prepare script and further project planning. At the point of script approval a second payment is collected.

Project is completed and presented to client for approval. Final payment is collected at the time of final product delivery.
