Media Arts Support Serices for Community Organizations, Schools, & Educators!

The Teen Producers Project is a media arts education program created for educators, youth group leaders, media arts instructors and teen producers who work and learn in a variety of diverse settings in school where they extend learning across the curriculum, and after school where they infuse media arts literacy, technology use and proactive community activities into those programs. The Teen Producers Project may be adapted for short or long-term use, workshops, in-class support services, and professional development.

TPP media arts lessons & activities connect to the following California State Curriculum Standards:  Visual and Performing Arts Standards, History/Social Science, English Language Arts and California Career Technical Education Model Curriculum Standards.

The Teen Producers Project uses media arts to provide underserved students (primarily second-language learners) with the educational skills and training necessary to use technology in ways that build academic success, promote better grades & test scores, more meaningful community participation, future employment and potential leadership roles.

The Teen Producers Project has a six year proven track record of successfully working with underserved students and educators in partnerships with San Diego County Office of Education’s Migrant Education Program – Region IX, METRO, Community Housing Works, The MAAC Project, SDCOE’s Advanced Placement Consortium Project, Jacobs Center for Non-Profit Innovation, Viejas Tribal Government, U.C. San Diego Early Academic Outreach Program, International Rescue Committee, and San Pasqual Academy.  Click here to learn more about TPP.  Read newspaper articles on TPP and students.
